PUCE-SI and its permanent work for the Environment

Abstract
Knowledge of the great diversity of natural resources and ecosystems in our country is widespread, but also the alarming figures on the deterioration and contamination that they are suffering. Given this, PUCE-SI and the School of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences have fundamentally taken as a strategy permanent work for the environment through cooperative alliances with other entities. In the August 2009 - January 2010 semester, we collaborated with the Imbabura Provincial Environmental Directorate in the socialization of research projects that brought together students, teachers and experts from the environmental area on issues that involved the conservation of the Páramos Ecosystem and the Andean Condor.
