Management model of solidary knowledge, the route towards social innovation

Abstract

The research presents the results of the project carried out within the framework of Contract RC0012-2014 Fiduciaria Bogotá as representative for the autonomous patrimony called National Fund for Science, Technology and Innovation Francisco José de Caldas and the Regional Polytechnic Corporation for Higher Education CPRES for the creation of solidarity companies as a strategy of social innovation in vulnerable populations, through the model of Micro franchises in the departments of Santander, Boyacá, Cundinamarca and Meta. Its execution was structured in four phases: 1) identification and selection of beneficiaries, 2) Characterization and selection of businesses with microfranchisable potential, 3) development of the solidarity model and packaging; 4) start-up, follow-up and accompaniment. The methodological approach implemented (mixed) allows to conclude that income opportunities in the participants are generated. In the initial phase of the project is not profitable or self-sustaining, but generates a positive impact on the micro franchisee and their relatives involuntarily from their application. Participants were IOM - IOM, (MinCIT) Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Special Administrative Unit of Solidarity Organizations, National Agency for the Overcoming of Extreme Poverty (ANSPE)
